Loran Adelle Davis writes sweet, contemporary romance stories with strong, sassy Southern women as her main characters, and don’t let the “sweet” fool you! Her newest series, Love in Sunrise, follows the stories of several women in a small, fictional coastal town in South Carolina – Sunrise. Her characters battle their fears of abandonment and not being worthy enough for love. Through these battles, her characters learn to accept their past as the past and move forward into a future of love and happiness.
Loran found her love for reading and writing strong female leads while completing her Bachelor’s in English at a small Appalachian College. She furthered her craft of writing through her English degree and learned a lot about the stories she wanted to tell the world. With the help of her mentor, the Chair of the English Department, she determined that she would do what she loves – writing.
Currently, she resides in South Carolina. She works on her writing and her business LA Davis Books in the mornings and teaches toddlers in the afternoon. Her love for children and writing hold equal places in her heart. When she isn’t writing or working, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, reading, spending time with her family, and watching Hallmark movies.
